The Holdrege FFA will be presenting a little kid farm safety camp on Wednesday, September 23 at the Phelps County Ag Center in Holdrege. There will be 130 Kindergarten and 1st Graders present from the Holdrege Public School system, Bertrand Public Schools, Loomis Public Schools, and All Saints Catholic Schools. The morning session will start at approximately 9 am with a puppet show and then the young students will rotate through 9 different presentations on safety that are being done by the Holdrege High School FFA members. The morning session concludes at 11:00 am. In the afternoon a second session will be run from approximately 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. It is a community service project that the FFA hosts during National Farm Safety Week.
