Poet CEO Predicts Biofuels Could Replace Gasoline

Broin warned that if we don’t use this excess grain for things such as biofuels, we’ll be back to the days of paying farmers not to produce, which in turn will burden U.S. taxpayers while reducing investment and innovation in farming.
At the same meeting, White House Energy & Climate Change Advisor Carol Browner said success with clean energy depends on - a national renewable standard and a cap on dangerous pollutants that contribute to global warming.
