6th Annual Wine and Grape Tour

The Wyoming Grape and Wine Association (WGWA) will hold its Sixth Annual Vineyard and Wine Tour on August 23, 2008. Tour participants can visit vineyards during the day in the communities of LaGrange, Lingle, and Torrington. Vineyard owners will be present to showcase their vineyards during the tour and offer growing tips. The tour concludes with a vineyard tour, wine tasting and reception hosted by Table Mountain Vineyards and Winery near Huntley, WY. Lorie Zimmerer of Table Mt. Vineyards explains, “The tour is a great time to learn about the Wyoming’s grape industry and to experience locally grown and made wines.” The tour will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m. with the wine reception at starting at 5:30 p.m. The reception will feature a tasting of Wyoming wines, food, music and more. Local author Starley Talbot will also host a book signing at the reception for her new book Along the Grapevine Trail. Tickets for the tour are $20 per person and RSVPs are encouraged.
