Carol M. Schultz, age 69 of Pilger, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 29th, at the Pilger United Methodist Church in Pilger. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service on Thursday. Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home of Pilger is in charge of arrangements.

Carol was born April 7, 1941 in Park Falls, WI to William and Lydia (Roehl) Blood, the youngest of twelve children.  Growing up and uniting with the late Ray Schultz, raising their family in Pilger, NE. Carol loved playing cards, doing word search and crossword puzzles, while drinking coffee.  She was a member of the Pilger United Methodist Church in Pilger, NE. Carol is survived by her son, Tony Schultz and significant other, Peg of Pilger; daughter, Billie Schultz of Madison; Diane Schultz of Beemer; 19 granchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, June Travis of Georgia Virginia Foss of Groton, CN; sisters-in-law, Ethel Blood and Peggy Blood of Merrill, Wi. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband, many siblings, and two grandsons-Matthew and Dustin.
