11 year old Regan Hart of Omaha, NE formerly Beemer, NE

Regan Hart, age 11 formerly of Beemer, passed away Monday, February 8, 2010, in Omaha, NE. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m., Friday, February 12th, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Beemer. Interment will be in the Beemer Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00p.m., Wednesday, February 10th, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Omaha (7706 S. 96th Street), and continuing on Thursday, February 11th, from 4:00-8:00p.m., at Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in Beemer. Visitation will also be held on Friday, February 12th, from 9:00a.m. until service time, at the church. The family suggest memorials to the Aicardi Syndrome Foundation and the Challenger League Softball Program in Omaha, NE. Regan Ann Hart was born May 1, 1998 at Yankton, SD to Jeffrey Alan and Barbara Ann (Nellor) Hart. She was baptized on June 28, 1998 at the United Methodist Church in Lynch, NE by Pastor Donna Carpenter. She started Kindergarten in the fall of 2003 at Lynch Elementary. In November of 2003, she moved to Omaha and was enrolled at JP Lord Elementary and was currently a 6th Grader. Regan enjoyed attending the Hattie B. Munroe Summer Camp in Omaha and participated in the Challenger League Softball program. She loved music, art, movies, the family pets-especially her pet iquana, snuggling with anyone, and attending and cheering at her brothers athletic activities. Regan helped to raise funds for the Aicardi Syndrome Foundation, by hosting a Power lifting competition at Lynch High School. The family enjoyed attending the bi-annual Aicardi Syndrome conferences. Through Regan, they have met so many people from all over the world. She also donated to the American Cancer Society Locks of Love program. Survivors include her family, Jeff, Barb and Alex Hart; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Janice Nellor of Beemer; paternal grandparents, Milford and Marlene Hart of Beemer; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive her. She was preceded in death by an uncle, David Alan Hart.
