Nominations sought for Omaha award

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ An initiative based at the University of Nebraska at Omaha is looking for a few good women worthy of honors. The university's Lifelong Learning Initiative is accepting nominations through Jan. 15 for a local woman who's at least 50 years old and has done extraordinary work for the community, a church, school, office or neighborhood. Three nominees will be selected and honored at a luncheon this spring. Nomination forms are available at http://lifelonglearning.unomaha.edu or by calling 402-554-4897.
