Columbus Woman Pleads No Contest In Abuse Case

A 19-year-old Columbus woman Wednesday afternoon admitted helping her live-in boyfriend cover up the abuse of her 21-month-old son last fall.

The abuse resulted in the child being rushed to the hospital with a fractured skull and broken jaw.

Tiffany Nickolite pleaded no contest in Platte County District Court to being an accessory to child abuse in connection with the late-September incident.

Sentencing has been set for April 18th.
