DAVID CITY, Neb. (AP) _ A Butler County deputy has been placed on administrative leave as authorities consider what to do about his arrest on suspicion of drunken driving. The Nebraska State Patrol says a trooper found 37-year-old Michael Stark in the driver's seat of a pickup in a Bellwood driveway on Friday. The patrol says Stark failed a sobriety test and was arrested. He has since bonded out of jail. The patrol report has been sent to the Butler County Attorney's Office. County Attorney Julie Reiter (WRITER) said Thursday she's going to ask the state to appoint a special prosecutor so her office can avoid any conflict of interest. A call by The Associated to a Shelby number listed for a Michael Stark was not immediately returned.
