LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ University of Nebraska President J.B. Milliken will talk about an Omaha education initiative at the National Summit on Higher Education. Milliken was invited to appear on a panel on ``promising efforts'' by U.S. Education Secretary Margaret Spellings. He'll share details of Omaha's Building Bright Futures. The goal of the initiative is to improve academic achievement, prepare high school graduates for college or the workforce, provide postsecondary education opportunities to low-income graduates and increase students' participation in the community. Joining Milliken today and tomorrow at the summit in Chicago is Omaha businessman Richard Holland, chairman of the Building Bright Futures board.
