A rural Cozad man was arrested on Father's Day after allegedly choking his 9-year-old son. The Dawson County Sheriff's Office received information about the incident Sunday afternoon. The 38-year-old man was arraigned in Dawson County Court Monday morning on charges of Strangulation and Felony Child Abuse. His bond was set at $10,000.
