Neb. youth rehab center administrator retiring

KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) _ The facility administrator for the Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Center in Kearney is retiring. Tim O'Dea is stepping down Monday after 16 years on the job. O'Dea began his career at what was then the Youth Development Center from 1970-1976. He served as a recreation aide, basic education teacher, cottage counselor, youth caseworker and recreation director. He left to become a school counselor and then the principal at Pleasanton Public School from 1978-1988. O'Dea returned to the Kearney youth rehab and treatment center in 1988 and served as principal until he became facility administrator in 1993.
