COMSTOCK, Neb. (AP) _ A 306-acre site near land where the Comstock Music Series is held has been sold at public auction. The land went for $336,000 Wednesday at the auction in Broken Bow. The winning bid came from James Trotter of Arcadia, who already owns 158 acres on the north side of the property. Henry Nuxoll, founder of the festival's forerunner, the Comstock Windmill Festival, attended the auction. The land is across the road from where the Comstock Music Series is held.
