A 27 year old Alliance man died from injuries suffered in a two vehicle accident on I-80 just after 7 p.m. Sunday night. The Nebraska State Patrol says Brady O'Dell was eastbound in his 1984 Buick when his vehicle struck a jackknifed pickup hauling a U-Haul trailer four miles east of Chappell.

Both vehicles were totaled and O'Dell died from injuries suffered in the accident. O'Dell was not wearing seat belts. The accident happened shortly after 7 p.m.
