Pender Woman Injured In Crash

A Pender woman was taken to the Pender Community Hospital following a one-vehicle accident Friday afternoon. Cuming County officials say Corrissa K Jewel of Pender was driving a vehicle on Highway 9 just west of Pender when she met another vehicle traveling the other way, got too close to a ditch over corrected and rolled. The extent of her injuries was not immediately known.
