CEDAR BLUFFS, Neb. (AP) — Seven relatives living in a Cedar Bluffs house are recovering from gas poisoning.

Forty-four-year-old Janette Davis, three of her children ranging in age from 26 to 14 and her 1-year-old grandson were taken to Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha after falling ill on Thursday morning.

The family underwent oxygen therapy in a hyperbaric chamber. A hospital spokeswoman said Saturday the family was no longer there.

Two other children, ages 2 and 3, were also in the home at the time. They were treated Thursday at a Fremont hospital and released.

Cedar Bluffs fire chief Rob Benke says the family suffered from carbon monoxide or natural gas poisoning.
