Published Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 01:21 PM

A proposed hog feed lot near Hubbard, Nebraska, is one step closer to construction.

The Dakota County Commissioners approved a conditional use permit for the facility on Monday. But the owner Scott Bousquet must submit more details in two weeks, which includes a site plan and its specific location.

The facility would hold 2,400 hogs. Bousquet says if he gets the permit, he hopes to begin construction in the fall.
