SW Iowa Man Charged After Police Call

A Red Oak man faces numerous charges after authorities foil a burglary attempt--and discover a meth lab in the process. Red Oak Police say 24-year-old Zachariah Michael Holland was arrested Friday afternoon for manufacturing a controlled substance--methamphetamine--five counts of precursor violations, third degree burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say Holland was arrested after authorities were called to a Red Oak residence about a possible burglary in process. Holland is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on $50,000 bond.
