At least 6 students from the area are headed for the American Legion Cornhusker Boys and Girls state this summer. They are part of the nearly 380 Nebraska high school students that will participate in the sessions in June. Chosen from the LaFrenz Post in Tekamah was Seth Olson and Sam Hansen will be an alternate. The Herman Legion Post named Daniel Tranmer as its delegate with Cameron Gaines as an alternate. Herman auxiliary members selected in Rebecca Kuhlmann as a delegate for Girls State and Cara Cameron was selected as an alternate.
