OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ A Nebraska hunting service and its owners have been ordered to serve five years' probation for permit-related violations. U.S. District Judge Laurie Smith Camp on Monday also ordered Real Hunt Inc. and Danny and Patricia Johnson to pay $40,000 in fines on the charge of unlawful transportation of wildlife taken in violation of state law. A news release from U.S. Attorney Joe Stecher's office characterizes Real Hunt as a hunting and lodging service that the Johnsons ran out of their home near Decatur. The news release says, in 2005 and 2006, Real Hunt allowed out-of-state customers to hunt deer on its Nebraska property with permits that were fraudulently obtained or were for other districts. The deer were transported to customers' homes. ____ (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP-02-09-09 1908CST<
