LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ A loan using money from the federal-stimulus package will help the southeastern Nebraska village of Talmage refurbish Main Street and get a new water line. The $250,000, low-interest loan is from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Talmage is the only Nebraska town that will receive a loan or grant from the USDA in the latest round of stimulus-funded projects that were announced on Wednesday. The loan is part of $66.4 million being distributed by the agency for projects in 33 states. The Talmage project is scheduled to begin this fall and will also be paid for with a $125,000 federal grant awarded last year. ____ On the Net: USDA: http://www.usda.gov/wps/portal/usdahome
