NPPD Customers Slowly Regain Power
Published Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 09:50 AM
Power is back on for about 300 customers of the Nebraska Public Power District as personnel continue to work to restore power to several communities in southeast Nebraska following Tuesday's ice storm. Crews reported that a number of individual outages remain throughout Humboldt, Pawnee City, Table Rock, and Shubert. They are being blamed on tree limbs falling on power lines. She says NPPD crews worked through the night, but several communities still remain without power including Barada and Dubois. Portable generators were brought in to provide power.
