Charges Filed In October Fatal Crash

Charges have been filed in Burt County in connection with an October crash that killed an Oakland woman. Burt County attorneys office filed motor vehicle homicide charges against Richard Brandenburg, 64 of Uehling. He was arraigned on December 18th. Brandenburg was driving a semi trailer that pulled out in front of a vehicle driven by Jeanie Boyer, 34 of Oakland around 8 AM on the morning of October 23rd. Her vehicle was pinned under the semi for a time. He could face up to a year in jail and or a one thousand dollar fine if convicted.
