Doctor On Leave From Hospital

A Doctor practicing for Franciscan Care Services has taken a leave of absence from the hospitals including St. Francis hospital in West Point. The Norfolk Daily News public record indicated Dr. Thomas Cohee was charged in Madison County with criminal simulation. A press release from the hospital says Cohee will take a leave of absence for an undetermined amount of time. Under medical staff by laws of St. Francis Memorial Hospital, any physician requesting a formal leave of absence automatically has their privileges suspended while on leave.
