Crouch Goes High In AAFL Draft

Five former Huskers were selected in the inaugural draft of the All American Football League this weekend. Heisman Trophy winner Eric Crouch was selected with the third pick by Texas. The league will have six teams and will play a 10 game regular season schedule this spring. Other teams in the include Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, Michigan and Alabama. Players will be paid between 50,000 to 100,000 dollars a season. The league gets underway in early April.
