Watson looking for I back competition

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ Nebraska offensive coordinator Shawn Watson says Marlon Lucky is the clear-cut starting I-back, even though the depth chart shows him sharing the spot with Roy Helu Junior. Watson says Helu is being rewarded for an outstanding spring and summer. Lucky says he's motivated, not insulted. Watson says the Cornhuskers will need as many I-backs available as possible, because he plans to run the ball a lot. Lucky started all 12 games last season and is the Big 12's only returning thousand-yard rusher. In addition to Helu, Quentin Castille and Marcus Mendoza figure to see considerable playing time this fall. Helu says his promotion on depth chart is his reward for hard work
