Wistrom headed back to Nebraska this week

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ Former Nebraska football great and NFL player Grant Wistrom will be in Omaha this week for the 55th annual B'nai B'rith Charity Sports Banquet. Wistrom will be the featured speaker at Wednesday's event at Qwest Center Omaha. Wistrom helped the Cornhuskers win three national championships between 1994 and 1997. He later played in the pros for the St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks. Last week, Wistrom was among the 18 players and coaches announced for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame in December. Wistrom will become the 14th Nebraska player in the hall, which is in South Bend, Ind. For tickets to Wednesday's banquet, call the B'nai B'rith office at 402-334-6443.
